Scampton Airshow September 2017

The first airshow at Scampton since 1991 was a relatively low key event with just 63 aircraft in the static and 40 in the flying display. Organised and ran by the RAFCTE who run RIAT, this was a learning event to hopefully improve over the next few years. There were two main static ramps, one holding modern military and the other trainers and lighter support aircraft. I was a volunteer at the show in charge of the modern military. Highlight of the static was the appearance of four Swedish Historic Flight aircraft and a Canadian CF-188. I hope you enjoy my selection below.
