Hi Jim, Congratulations on a well structured collection, particularly the Nimrod bits. I went L-Tech A in September 1971 and ended up at Kinloss as the Crew Chief on XV246 during 1972/73. Did the MARDET in Singapore during 1972, great fun. I remember well some brilliant crew chief colleagues who helped me through, like John Poulter, Ed Dearsley, Tam Archibald, John Paxton, etc, etc. Love the Crew Chief Re-union picture, I only wish I had heard about it in time.
Thanks again, Dave.

Many thanks for your kind comments Dave, its always nice when someone takes the time to comment on your work. Kinloss is now a sad reflection of former days although I keep my hand in by volunteering for a local Aviation related Charity Morayvia. We have XV241 as a complete aircraft and the front 50ft of XV240 as a travelling exhibit.
