East Fortune 25th July 2015

This airshow is becoming increasingly popular with once again a large crowd attending. Highlights were the Red Arrows, RAF Typhoon and a return to Scotland after many years of a Blenheim, (once based at nearby RAF Drem) and recently restored Swordfish were most welcome. Also we got the bonus of some of the Museum of Flight aircraft being displayed outside, due to refurbishment work on the hangars.  A very rare appearance of a Norwegian P-3 Orion was also most welcome (I cant ever remember one being in a flying display in the UK) and the new RAF display team showing the Hawk T.2 role was impressive. This was probably the last time a Sea King would appear at the show. Here is my selection from the show.
